Business Continuity Plan

Our Business Continuity Plan
Our Business Continuity Plan is designed to help us to recover and resume business operations in the event of a significant business disruption. The plan describes the steps that Secondcap will take to respond to a business disruption and take steps to safeguard our employees and property, make financial and operational assessments, protect the firm’s books data, records and asset, and allow our customers to transact business. In short, our business continuity plan is designed to permit our firm to resume business operations as quickly as possible, in light of the scope and severity of the significant business disruption.

Our business continuity plan addresses key issues relevant to business continuity, including: data backup and recovery; mission critical systems; financial and operational assessments; alternative communications with customers, employees, and regulators; alternate physical location of employees; critical supplier, contractor, regulatory reporting; and mechanisms for ensuring that our customers are able to have prompt access to our platform if we are unable to continue our business.

Varying Disruptions
Significant business disruptions can vary in their scope. For instance, business disruptions may impact our firm, a single building housing our firm, the business district where our firm is located, the city where we are located, or an entire region. In addition, the severity of a business disruption can also vary from minimal to severe. In the event of a disruption to only our firm or a building housing our firm, we will transfer our operations to a local site when needed and endeavor to recover and resume business within one business day. In a disruption affecting our business district, city, or region, we will transfer our operations to a site outside of the affected area, and recover and resume business operations as rapidly as possible. In either situation, we plan to continue in business, transfer operations to another locale if necessary and notify you through our web site, through email or other means.
